NETWORKS

LEARNING TOGETHER.
THREE BUILDING BLOCKS.
A NETWORK.

Your guide to energy efficiency in tourism and gastronomy

Hotels and restaurants have a continuous and often seasonal energy requirement that is difficult to optimize using conventional measures.

This is why we regularly organize energy efficiency networks for and with hotel and catering businesses together with regional multipliers such as the chambers of industry and commerce, the DEHOGA associations or destinations (DMOs).

We not only help to analyze energy consumption and identify potential savings, but also to plan and implement efficient measures.
Our approach enables businesses to operate sustainably without compromising the customer experience.

Tourythm’s energy network is more than just a consultancy service.
It is a platform for sharing experiences, learning together and developing sustainable, energy-efficient solutions.

EXCHANGE EXPERIENCES AND NETWORKING

Sharing experiences and networking among participants is the first of the three pillars of the energy efficiency networks.
At all workshops, there is plenty of time to share experiences on specific topics and benefit from the experiences of other participants.

INDIVIDUAL ENERGY CONSULTING

An integral part of all energy efficiency networks is the implementation of a subsidized energy consultation per company for small and medium-sized enterprises.
During the consultation process, we analyze your energy consumption and energy-related processes in order to develop targeted measures to reduce your energy requirements.

SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE TRANSFER

The third pillar of the energy efficiency network is the specific transfer of knowledge on topics that are of interest to all participants.
In doing so, we deepen existing knowledge and focus on topics that could become relevant for individual companies now or in the future.

FUTURE NETWORK

LEARNING TOGETHER. SELECTABLE MODULES. ONE NETWORK.

Your guide to sustainability in tourism and gastronomy

Destinations and regions often face the challenge of integrating local tourism businesses into their sustainability strategy.
This requires translating the overall sustainability strategy into the language of regional tourism businesses in order to inspire them to actively participate.
After all, every region is only as sustainable as its stakeholders are sustainable.

Tourythm has specialized in these tasks, as we have been working closely with both target groups – destinations and tourism companies – for years.
Specifically for this challenge, we offer the implementation of future networks with which destinations and regions can invite regional tourism companies to undergo further training in the field of sustainability and thus make their contribution to sustainability development.

Specifically, these future networks consist of regular modular networking events over a longer period of time on various sustainability topics.
All tourism businesses in the region are invited to take part in these networking events according to their interests and needs.
Typical network topics that are selected according to need are, for example

  1. Trends Reflection of trends & new framework conditions: EU-CSRD Act, Green Claims, Supply Chain Act
  2. Leadership and better leadership: Reflecting on our own understanding of leadership and success – sustainability starts with ourselves
  3. Vision and values: How to develop a vision and values – in the beginning the WHY is more important than the WHAT and HOW
  4. Successfully engaging employees: Increase employer branding & employee motivation with sustainability – incl. training concept
  5. Increase energy & water efficiency: Energy efficiency self-test – the best tips to save energy costs quickly
  6. More sustainable menu design: How can I design menus that are more sustainable and save energy and CO2 emissions at the same time?
  7. Evaluate and develop suppliers: Using suppliers as a resource and actively involving them – incl. supplier evaluation tool
  8. Successful communication Sustainability as a successful communication strategy Strengthening social media profile & image

The networking events can be offered live on site (especially in regional pioneering companies) or online. Reality often shows that a mixture of both formats makes sense.
